</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hello, my name is Mimosa and I am Erik's daughter, for whom we are raising these funds. My father came to Formentera as a young Hippie from Holland, although born in Indonesia, during the 70s and was captivated by the beauty of the island, almost virgin and uncrowded in those days, deciding to stay and make Formentera his home. Erik is a well-known and very well loved person on the island, having been in charge of managing music and performances at the Mercado de la Mola for a long time, in addition to offering live performances throughout the island and having reputation to be an extraordinary chef.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Erik has lived since he arrived in Formentera in an old house in Es Cap de Barbaria, surrounded by land with a great variety of native plant species, in which Erik, over the years, little by little but painstakingly, had built a beautiful garden to which he, with his peculiar humor, liked to call "Bali-Balear Paradise", mixing in one word his adopted land in the Balearic Islands and his place of origin in Bali.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But misfortune came suddenly and without warning when on July 11 at 10 in the morning, with suffocating heat already at that time, a fire broke out that destroyed everything, being reduced to ashes. In the extinguishing tasks, which ended at 11:25 a.m., 3 vehicles and a rapid intervention pick-up from firefighters participated.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Erik is already older, nearly 75 years old and has no wealth, it is not easy for him to get ahead, nor can he make a living like before and this blow has split his life in two in a few moments; now, this man who has been a reference for the true lost spirit of the island of Formentera needs your help to be able to get to work and recover the land ravaged by the flames and turn it back into the small paradise it was before the fire. That is why we ask for your collaboration in this campaign with the amount that you can contribute, small or large, which will surely help achieve the set goal. We leave some photographs of the place before and after the fire.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you from the bottom of my heart on behalf of my father and myself.
