A Dream: Zambian Woman Doctor

Donation protected
Linda has a close relative who almost died of AIDS. Many friends and acquaintances  have lost their lives from the disease because of the huge stigma in the culture of Zambia. Many are simply too ashamed to seek medical help.  And, often the medical attention that they eventually are forced to get is not first rate.   Sometimes people who cannot afford private clinics are put in an isolated area and basically left to die.
Linda wants to change this.
A medical degree from a high caliber University will be a powerful model for other Zambian girls and women.  She has graduated with honors from one of the best schools in her area and is now studying chemistry and biology at a local school for high school graduates who want to continue their education.
Thank you for any help you can give towards her tuition for an SAT preparatory course in Lusaka. This will greatly increase her chances of winning a scholarship to a top medical university somewhere in the world. It is the first step in a long process to prove that Zambian women can impact their world positively as well (or better than) men.

Tuition costs:
SAT six week program:                $1200
Living expenses for six weeks:   $550
   Rent: $400
   Food:  $100
   Transport: $50
