Hi, my name is Charlotte, and I am currently organising a fundraising event called Fashioned for Freedom. All proceeds from this event will be donated to Gari Kuruma (“the dwelling place” in Wonnarua language), a developing domestic violence refuge and intensive services hub in the Hunter region. The Hunter has some of the highest rates of domestic and family violence in all of NSW.

Since announcing this event, I’ve been overwhelmed by the generosity of our community. Many people who can’t attend have asked how they can still contribute, so this page is for those wanting to support Gari Kuruma and the life-changing work they are building.
