<div>I still can’t quite believe what happened Sunday afternoon, 5 July 2026, in Pforzheim, at the Alter Schlachthof.

<div>Whilst we were dismantling the SCHMUCK+ fair, some idiot stole my transport rucksack – packed full of my entire collection for the journey home.

<div>It contained 88 kinetic rings, 10 kinetic brooches and one kinetic bracelet. That’s almost everything I can exhibit and sell to earn a living. Technically speaking, it was a „simple theft“ – so it’s not covered by insurance. We have a detailed description of the suspect, but unfortunately no photos or CCTV footage.

<div>They’re quite unique, but not always one-offs – so please be aware that there are similar pieces that were legally purchased from me.

<div>I’m not yet sure how I’m going to manage my upcoming exhibitions – another six are already planned for this year.

<div>I am deeply moved by the overwhelming sympathy shown in the wake of this desaster, and I have been asked on several occasions how people might help me get back on my feet again soon. That is why I am launching this campaign.

<div>Through this campaign, I hope to finance my fresh start and cover the costs of materials and my staff’s overtime, so that I can restore at least some of the pieces in my collection in time for the upcoming exhibitions.

<div>Ich bin tief bewegt von der überwältigenden Anteilnahme, die mir nach diesem Unglück entgegengebracht wurde, und ich wurde mehrfach gefragt, wie man mir helfen könnte, bald wieder auf die Beine zu kommen. Deshalb starte ich diese Kampagne.
