Diesel is currently ICU care. He accidentally ate a piece of avocado and avocados are very toxic to birds, it causes organ failure.
He’ll be in ICU for the next 30 hours, where they will flush his crop, give him an activated charcoal pill and monitor him in an oxygen container. He was left with some toys, his favorite treats and food. He’s definitely in good hands and we hope to reunite tomorrow. If you can donate, any little bit helps.
