A cure needs to be found for this horrible disease!!

On Tuesday 20th May, we were given the devastating news that our beautiful Queen, the rock to our family has MND (Motor Neurone Disease), for those that don’t know what MND is, it’s a incurable rare disease that affects the nerves, which then causes difficulties in breathing, swallowing and mobility, the saddest part is your brain is still 100% so they are aware of everything even if their body is letting them down! Today, a cure still hasn’t been found which needs to change, so people with this horrible disease can be saved!

Anyone who has been lucky enough to meet my mum or have her in your life knows what a wonderful woman she is, I don’t think I’ve met a more caring person, with the hugest heart and will always manage to put a smile on your face!! Mum was the life and soul of the party and loved a chin wag, but over the last few months she has lost her mobility and her voice which has been devastating for Mum and all the family.

I wanted to try and turn this horrific news into a positive if I could and raise some money for MND so John, myself and the kids have decided to do part of the Cotswold way walk, we will finish in Winchcombe!

I know times are stretched for us all these days but if you could manage to donate even a pound, mum and I would appreciate it so much!

We don’t know what the future holds for our beautiful Queen and how long we have left so our plan is to live each day to the full, and make mum as comfortable and happy as we possibly can!

Thank you for taking the time to read this and a even bigger thank you if you donate..

Lots of love
