A Cure for Ethan

Donation protected

9/29/2018  Brave Ethan finished his first round of chemo and went for his follow-up visit this week. Unfortunately, his cancer is aggressive and has returned with a large tumor on his spleen and was found in his liver. He'll go through surgery this upcoming week, then more intense chemo and radiation. This new diagnosis has been a shock. Please help financially if you are able to and please, please pray for Ethan and his family as they wage war on this beast of a disease. We are incredibly thankful for your support:)

4/2018 Ethan Robins
is a sweet boy, full of energy and happiness, who just turned 7 yesterday. Last week, after noting a protrusion in his side, his parents (Jason and Shalon) took him to their local pediatrician who led them to seek a diagnosis at Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. They discovered Ethan has a large Wilms Tumor on his left kidney. To save his life, the cancerous tumor and his kidney will be removed on Tuesday, April 10th.  After the procedure, Ethan will begin chemotherapy until the cancer cells are eradicated from his body.

As you can imagine this is a frightening event with a treatment and cure at a high cost. Even though Jason owns and operates a successful business, the family does not have the traditional health insurance that would cover the bulk of the expense.

This brave family is just a year out of another child medical crisis when Corinne, their 10 year old daughter at the time, had to undergo emergency surgery at Primary Children's to correct an Unicameral Bone Cyst in her hip. They scraped out the cyst out and replaced it with a bone graft with a metal plate and 8 bolts. After a long recovery, Corinne is doing amazingly well. We are hopeful and praying for the same outcome for Ethan.

The Robins family have 6 beautiful children who make a positive impact in their community. Their extended family is creating this GoFundMe to shoulder some of the financial burden that this surgery and chemotherapy will be for them. We are grateful for any assistance you can offer and ask for your faith and prayers as this courageous little boy and his parents go through this difficult trial. Please share to get the word out. Our deepest thanks for any support you can offer.

We'd like to share some of Shalon's post after they found out the diagnosis as she humbly expresses her faith and gratitude to those in her life. God bless and please help us cure our sweet Ethan!

"I am overwhelmed and scared. Yet, the outpouring of love from my family and friends has been......I can’t even think of the words, other than I am in awe at how amazing everyone is. I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ for all the amazing people he has put in my life, I am so blessed. As we start down this path(which I honestly don’t want to go down) my heart is full, as I feel the love and strength from the army of angels both on earth and in heaven standing with us. Thank you doesn’t even come close to explain my gratitude. But, THANK YOU and I Love you all so dearly. " --Shalon Robins, St. George, Utah
