A Cure for Cody

Hello friends and family. We have created this GoFundMe for our friend and co-worker Ron Cody.
Roughly two months ago, Cody was having issues swallowing. He noticed a knot on his neck below his jaw. After several doctors appointments, biopsies, and tests, Cody was diagnosed with Stage 3 Squamous Cell Carcinoma. A CT scan showed the cancer in a wider spread area than what was originally thought; these areas included his jaw, throat, and tongue.
Even though his cancer is at Stage 3, his doctors are confident that with radiation and chemo, his cancer if fully curable.
Since Cody is having issues swallowing solid foods, on Monday, November 23, Cody had to have a feeding tube inserted into his stomach. During this procedure, the doctor also inserted a port into his chest for his chemotherapy.
His doctors have prescribed the following treatment for him: Radiation 5 days per week and the most aggressive form of Chemo available twice a week. His treatment will last approximately 6 to 8 weeks and at least a 6 month recovery time.
Cody is the only person in his household that works. He and his wife also have two children in the home they take care of. Being out of work a few days can cause financial worry and burden, but being out of work for the amount of time that Cody will have to be, adds another level of stress and worry especially at the holiday season.
During his 17 years on his job, we've never know Cody to be anything other than humble, nice, hard working, and never complained about any job he was asked to do.
As we all know, medical bills add up faster than your normal monthly bills. Our main goal is to try and help remove some of the financial burden off of Cody so he can concentrate on his treatment and getting better. Any help that you are able to provide through this donation will help lessen this burden.
