A Cure for Becca

My family was blessed when my son married a very kind and caring person. Becca and her 3 year old daughter (my seventh granddaughter) Kylie quickly won our hearts. I have trouble expressing how much bringing Becca and Kylie into our lives has meant to us. Becca has shown us her concern and compassion for others in ways I cannot repay.
Recently, another grandchild of mine was diagnosed with a rare disease that required a bone marrow transplant as the only cure. Becca organized a fundraising campaign that raised over $500 towards her medical bills. Becca will always offer help where ever there is a need and she does so with a glad heart.
Now Becca needs our help. Becca's energy seemed limitless, so when she began to look tired and pale we encouraged her to see her doctor. On Friday, November 17th, the weekend before Thanksgiving Becca went to see her doctor. She did not come home that day. Se was admitted to the hospital with critically low blood counts.
Within a weeks time, Becca was diagnosed with an extremely rare blood cancer. This cancer is caused by mutations in the bone marrow. The only cure for this devastating disease is a bone marrow transplant.
Becca does have medical insurance, but it falls way short of covering the enormous cost of a bone marrow transplant.
I cannot help but believe that Becca's acts of caring and compassion are meant to come back to her.
Becca's need for new bone marrow is urgent. The doctor would like to proceed as quickly as possible.
