Carroll County needs a place for the homeless and a place to go feel safe.
This ministry helps with the insecurities of food in our community and we are willing to help with this issue of homelessness too.
The building that we are currently in at 4032 E. Van Buren, Eureka Springs, Ark is for sale. The asking price is $345,000.00, we rent month to month now and are wanting to buy. We are trying to raise the down payment which is $50,000.00.
Buying this building would give us the freedom to build on and make it where we could have a place for the homeless to be in doors and out of the weather.
We are asking for help raising the funds to buy and build on. Please help us meet this goal and donate.
In a article by the local news papers, the issue of homelessness and displaced families was discussed by officials in our community and is bigger than first thought.
Homelessness is defines as sharing houses with multiple families, living in shelters, living in temporary housing like motels, hotels and camping grounds.
We have some living in their vehicles, temporarily in the parking lot. And also in our local camp grounds.
Our schools see many children in our district that are either homeless and/or struggling with food insecurities.
Let's get on board and take care of these precious people that come into out lives.
Our vision is to continue with all that is going on in the ministry daily, such as serving a good meal, a safe place to be out of the weather, a healthy environment, food pantry for anyone in need.
We will add being available in the evenings, for a shelter type atmosphere. Providing a roof over their heads, cots to sleep on and a secure place to rest.
Help us open the door in a way we haven't been able to for those that call or come in asking for assistance.
