<div>Hello, my name is Cynthia Lake, and I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my boyfriend's family, the Clarke family, who have been severely impacted by the devastating Category 5 Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>The destruction left by Hurricane Melissa is catastrophic. Thousands of Jamaican families have been left homeless, without basic necessities, and facing an impossible road to recovery. While the news focuses on the widespread damage, we are now living through the personal tragedy of our own family's loss.

</div>

<div>The Immediate Impact of Hurricane Melissa

</div>

<div>completely destroyed their family homes in Westmoreland, Jamaica., leaving them with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Flooded their property and destroyed their small family business/livelihood, which they depended on for income.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Has left my boyfriend's family without a safe &amp; dry place to sleep.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>They urgently need immediate help for basic survival, including:</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Clean water and non-perishable food.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Emergency shelter and temporary rent.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Essential personal hygiene items and medication.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>Our Goal and Your Impact</strong>

</div>

<div><strong>Our initial goal is to raise $10,000 to cover these critical needs for the next few months and begin the long process of cleanup and eventual rebuilding.</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Every single donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward helping the Clarke family stabilize and start their journey back to self-sufficiency. Your generosity is not just a donation; it is a lifeline that offers hope and comfort in their darkest hour.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>Thank you for taking the time to read their story and for any support you can offer, whether it's a donation or simply sharing this campaign.</strong>
