Dave Nash's Journey

Donation protected

This is my twin brother Dave Nash. As you all know he loves Christmas. This year he started his Christmas countdown with the pictures of cartoons and movie things 171 days before Christmas. 16 days before his favorite holiday he got some not so "Merry" news...this is Dave's story.
Twelve years ago, Dave Nash was diagnosed with a stage 4 Glioblastoma Multiforme (a malignant brain tumor the size of an orange). He underwent brain surgery and the subsequent radiation and chemotherapy. His Oncologist and Neuro-Surgeon didn't expect him to survive long enough to attend his nine-month follow up appointment. By God's grace he did.
Dave has lived a viable life and been a blessing to his family and many friends. Of course, there have been some ups and downs. He has had to deal with seizures throughout the last twelve years. He never let the seizures get him down. Dave has lived with much thankfulness and appreciation for the little things in life.
Sometimes life presents challenges to our human existance that are far beyond our ability to understand and control. This is another one of those challenges for Dave Nash.
A brain tumor returned to the same area where the first one grew. This time the tumor was one and a half times larger than the first one. It was so large it had nowhere to go but out through the skull area weakened from the original surgery. With a skillful hand the tumor was removed by the same Neuro-Surgeon.
Dave is at home recovering from the surgery. His fate is unknown. Only time will tell. He has many doctor's appointments and therapy sessions to work through. Dave is handling his circumstances bravely without complaint.
However, Dave is up against it. Currently, he is without health care insurance. The cost of his care is insurmountable. He and his fiancee can not begin to pay for his care. We are kindly asking for help. Your support is greatly appreciated.
