Lucky-Lou Vet Bills

Donation protected
After 81 total days at the veterinary hospital, I am happy to say we were able to bring Lucky-Lou home today! Here is her updated story of recovery:

On April 2, I spotted this puppy on the side of the road with her head up, but not moving. I scooped her up and rushed her to the veterinarian. Besides a large open wound on her right rear leg, X-rays showed that her left rear leg, hip/pelvis, and tail were broken with paralysis.

Lucky-Lou, as my husband named her, had her left rear leg and tail amputated. However, her tail did not heal properly and she had to have a second tail amputation surgery.

Her vet bill is beyond anything I ever imagined it would be…way more than I even anticipated when I originally posted this Gofundme account. So I share this updated post, first and foremost, to let you all know the wonderful news that Lucky-Lou is home and doing fantastic! Secondly, I ask if you would consider contributing to her medical bills. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has already donated and to everyone who prayed and offered encouragement along her healing journey.
