A children's book project.

The funding I am seeking will be to help with my idea for a children's book series project. The book will be based on me as a teacher that explores and investigates all kinds of topics. The idea here is to encourage young minds to think big and to help them to realize the endless possibilities through reading and learning as well as self-discovery.
The book will be multiculturally based and will also include children with physical challenges. I strongly feel imagery is vital when we are trying to foster positive experiences through what we teach and how we present the material. At the same time, this project is not just for urban city children and families, we want to include children in the rural location of our country. So often when we have these discussions about early childhood education and development, we leave out children and their families in rural settings. I want to make a point in this project to bridge that gap. All children should be given the chance to dream big. Through reading and the process of learning, we can help chidren and thier families reach postive and fulfilling academic outcomes.
