A cherished mother is gone. Help us

These days it's impossible to pay for a funeral. I'm asking all dog rescuers, friends, family and those who know this beautiful soul to help me to help her out of an almost impossible situation.

As our advocate and rescue partner intervening on our behalf with our rescue veterinarian, we cannot say enough about what Jennifer has done for our dogs and our ability to afford the very best care for them.

Jennifer Lovell McCracken has always given herself to the animals, to rescue, and to helping us stay cheerful,  cared about and optimistic even in the face of sometimes horrible sorrow when a rescue we have simply cannot make it. People like Jennifer are rare and thanks to them, we can do things often impossible without their help.

Jennifer's mother has been sick for some time, but you wouldn't know it. She didn't complain or talk about it. She kept up with helping us  rescues the dogs, medically treat them and following her mission without letting on that she had her own deep pain.

Jennifer's mother was her best friend, her only family, her world. Another angel has her wings, but Jennifer is left behind to suffer her loss.

If that is not enough, the cost of a funeral is astronomical and outside what most of us could ever afford. Jennifer has been in debt and it is my hope that we can help just a little bit after all she has done for us her friends, and for dog after dog after dog, always with a smile and encouragement.

Jennifer did not want this fundraiser. She's too proud. She doesn't put her difficulties on others. So I am doing this for her. Because although she would say otherwise, she needs out help. 

Please, no matter how little you are able, won't you consider helping me to help this person who has been there over and over for us?

We can't ease her sorrow or lessen her loss, but we can help in our own small way by being there for her for once. We can give our compassion, our love, and our contribution.
