Love & Support needed for Veteran!




Dan is a 47 year old father of three who loves his family beyond measure.  As a devoted father and husband, he works 3 jobs to ensure his family is happy and loved.  He is a veteran of the Gulf War, having served 5 years in the army.  He is currently in his 23rd year working in law enforcement. 

Dan was diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis.  This has affected his liver resulting in him desperately needing a transplant.  

It looks like a donor has been found!!!

The transplant was completed on 6/20/18 and went very smoothly.

The first year after any transplant is a very trying time for everyone involved.  There are many aspects of care and recovery (including co-pays, medication, and much more) which are not covered by insurance.  After care is crucial, and is expensive, that’s where you can help!

For those of you that aren’t familiar with who is managing the GoFundMe ..the website/app has asked me to share. My name is Sarah and am Dan and Jenny’s cousin from Buffalo, NY.

All of the funds will be dispersed to Dan’s family on a monthly basis throughout the recovery process. These funds will help with, but are not limited to: hospital parking, medical bills, food/meals for the family, and daily living expenses for Dan and family while Dan is unable to work.
