A Celebration of Life for Amy Witkay-Ralston

Donation protected
Amy Witkay-Ralston, of Grapevine, Texas had her last adventure Sunday, September 20, 2020.   Amy was fatality injured in a motorcycle accident and  is survived by her three beautiful girls - Emily, Sophia and Allison, caring husband David, loving mother Gerri Witkay, and brother Doug Witkay.

Amy was a pure unadulterated, blend of wit, wisdom, organization, feistiness, will and an unstoppable force of determination.  She was a spitfire who would not let Lupas define her when diagnosed, and immediately began training for her first Triathlon - while pregnant.  Amy went on to compete in multiple Triathlons and 150 mile bike rallies with exhausted friends by her side.

As a determined spirit, she was driven to excel in the workforce specializing in Planning and Allocations for organizations such as Zales Jewelry and The Army and Airforce Exchange. Always coming up with pioneering solutions to old problems and new, Amy would use her dedication and perseverance to successfully lead her teams to deliver much needed goods to troops globally.

Saving the hardest job for last, Mom.  Amy would serve as more than a gentle hand of guidance and offer herself as a step by step example to her girls. Being there for every track meet, basketball game, softball game, art exhibition and math equation; her patience and ability to teach, love and inspire will last several generations.

As a lover of life and all forms of fellow travelers of life in her world, Amy also had a special kinship with nature and spirituality.  Whether in the mountains of Colorado, the desert of Arizona or the lakes in Texas, Amy was always one with nature.

A Celebration of an inspiring life filled with love, adventure and friendship will be held for family at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine Texas on Saturday September, 26 2020 at 4:00pm.

Friends may join her service via live stream at : https://video.ibm.com/channel/tmab4jDHmbG

Donations will be managed by a third party through Wells Fargo Bank.  All donations will be made to the Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine and professional services to support  Amy's Family.

Amy was an inspiration to those who were lucky enough know her.  She will be sorely missed, but will always be in our hearts and memory as a Daughter, Wife, Mom and Life-Long Friend.
