<div>Some of you may know me as 'MedicalMumma' as I share our journey online, my 5 year old daughter Everly lives with Dravet Syndrome and requires 24/7 supervision and support.

<div>I’ve always just made do with what we have. I never ask for help unless I’ve tried absolutely everything first. As she grows I am discovering more and more challenges in being her full time carer.

<div>After hiring a Kia Carnival for a week recently, I realised just how much I’ve been struggling in silence with my old 2002 Statesman.

<div>For the first time, everything fit!

<div>All 3 of my girls, Everly's medical equipment, wheelchair, 2 car seats, medical bags, oxygen cylinders and even all 3 of Ev's support workers. All at the same time!! In my current car the entire boot is consumed by Ev's wheelchair and there is literally no room for anything else.

<div>I was in love with the Kia, the sliding doors, the space, the comfort, it was effortless. For once, driving felt safe and calm. I didn’t realise how much stress and pain my old car caused until I experienced what “easy” felt like.

<div>Now, back home, I’m right back to battling. My car is cramped and honestly unsafe. It is taking a huge toll on my body and as my girls grow, fitting them all together safely is becoming impossible.
</div>
<div>Let alone a support worker and medical equipment, which has potential to be dangerous if Everly has a seizure. Everly's new Simon disability car seat also won’t fit because my car doesn’t have ISOFIX fittings.

<div>I’ve exhausted every option: My superannuation is gone, I can't get a loan, my family can’t help and the charities I've contacted don’t fund vehicle purchases.

<div>I have thought long and hard about making this gofundme, I never want more than what we need but this is something that would change our lives.
