A Car for LK

Hello Dear Familia,
We are humbly asking for support in raising the funds to buy our dear community leader, friend, and sister LK, a car. We realize that this is no small ask and believe that- as a community- we can band together and make a difference. We ask that you consider how LK shows up and holds space for each and every one of us in profound ways, and take this opportunity to support her in a time of need.
LK is coming out of a long period of healing from surgery last year, and beginning a new chapter in her life as she steps into new roles as a teacher, guiding workshops, and deepening into her life-long commitment of service to her community, to her plant allies, and to the families she directly supports in Peru. As some of you may know, LK believes in accessibility to healing for all, and she shares her work with those in need, making many scholarship opportunities available to her community--all of which come out of her own pocket.
Helping to buy LK an affordable and reliable car will allow her to get to town from her remote location in the redwoods, it will enable her to travel to work with us, her community, and it will allow her to expand her work and service to more people in this state and beyond.
