As Maria approaches her second birthday, we find ourselves reflecting on how much she’s grown in the past two years—physically, emotionally, and in the strength of her spirit. Born with Bainbridge Roper Syndrome, Maria’s journey has been unique, but she faces each challenge with the biggest smile and an amazing amount of determination. She may not be walking or running yet, but don’t let that fool you—this little girl has a giant heart and an even bigger will to take those steps, one way or another!

This year, for Maria’s second birthday, we’re reaching out with a special request—one that could help her make progress in her physical development. We’ve found an incredible intensive physical therapy program that could make a world of difference for Maria. This program would provide her with the targeted, one-on-one care she needs to move closer to walking, playing, and exploring her world in ways we all know she’s capable of.

But here’s the catch: this life-changing therapy isn’t covered by insurance, and the program costs several thousand dollars—something that’s a little out of our reach. That’s why we’re asking for your support. Every donation will go directly toward covering the cost of this intensive program.
