Hi Everyone,

I’m turning 40 on May 8th and planning a meaningful trip to celebrate my birthday and Mother's Day with the woman who made my life possible, because time is precious and these moments won't last forever.

Back in October, I learned that No Doubt was reuniting for a limited residency at Sphere Las Vegas. Since I was born in Anaheim, CA, in 1986 (the same place and year the band formed), we literally grew up together. But when I found out they would be performing on my actual birthday, it felt like it was meant to be.

Then my mom surprised me by saying she wanted to join us in Vegas for Mother’s Day weekend. I had already planned to attend the show, but when my mom decided to come, the trip became so much more than just my 40th birthday celebration. It became a rare opportunity for all of us to travel, spend Mother’s Day together, and have three generations of girlies in one of my mom’s favorite cities in the world.

Over the past few years, my mom has faced several serious health scares, including COVID, RSV, hospitalizations for pneumonia, blood clots, in addition to the constant pain she lives with as a result of permanent nerve damage from back surgeries. The fact that she’s even able (and excited!) to join us on this trip is a gift in itself, one I don’t take for granted.

In lieu of gifts, anything you feel moved to contribute will go toward the show at the Sphere, my mom’s round-trip flight from Orange County, my drive from Phoenix, AZ, our stay (we’re keeping it practical with a condo-style setup), a Mother’s Day brunch (to embrace our true love of food in a city known for its buffets), and the simple gift of being together.

This is an invitation to be a part of a special time with us, not an expectation to fund it.

I’m trying to be intentional about making the most of every moment we have together and creating community around this memorable time. It will also help us create core memories for my girls, her grandbabies: Heroica (4) and Ava (2).
