A bench for Pierre/5cents Gibeault

La famille Gibeault a perdu un membre vibrant de sa famille, Pierre / 5 cents. La majorité d'entre nous le connaissait comme un homme jovial et déterminé à faire rire tous ceux qui l'entourent.
Lors de sa visite à Hermosa Beach, un après-midi Pierre disparaît pendant quelques heures. Quand il revient à la maison, inquiètes, nous lui demandons ce qu'il a fait pendant tout ce temps. Sa réponse: Il jasait avec son ami James. Il nous a ensuite expliqué qu'il s'était assis sur le banc au pied de la rue, dans le parc, et que ce banc avait été dédié à un certain James. Tout le reste du séjour, la blague est restée et Pierre s'était fait un nouvel ami.
Le lendemain du décès de Pierre, Marie-Pier décide d'aller marcher et ses pas l'emmènent dans ce même parc. À peine arrivée, elle réalise immédiatement que le soleil couchant n'éclaire qu'une seule chose, le banc de James. Tout le reste du parc est dans l'ombre. C'est un signe.
Nous avons donc besoin de votre aide pour amasser des fonds pour acheter un banc pour Pierre, et le mettre à côté de celui de James. Ce sera un lieu où Marie-Pier pourra se recueillir, ici en Californie.

The Gibeault family lost a valuable member of the clan, Marie-Pier’s father Pierre/ 5 Cents. Most of us know him as a funny, happy man that was always trying to make the people around him laugh.
On his last trip to Hermosa Beach, we lost Pierre for a few hours. When he got back to the house, we were a little bit concerned and asked him where he had been. His answer was the following: "Oh I was just talking with my new friend James." We didn’t get it at first so he explained to us that he found a bench at the bottom of the street that was dedicated to a certain James. He sat there and just enjoyed the beautiful day, with his new friend James. We joked about it for the rest of his stay in California.
The day Marie-Pier learned about the passing of her father, she went for a walk in Hermosa Beach. She walked by James' bench and noticed how the sun was shinning on only the bench, and on nothing else. It was a sign.
We now need your help to gather enough money to pay for a teak bench with a bronze plate in Pierre’s name, beside James in Hermosa Beach. It will be a place where Marie-Pier can find some peace and spend time with her father here in California.
