A baby brother - Wyatt - for Jude.

Donation protected
I wanted to share the story of our dear friends, Beverly and Beau Hendrich, whose hearts are extremely tall, wide but most of all...open.  Bev and Beau are expanding their sweet family of three, to include a little puddin by the name of Wyatt.  Sister Jude is over the moon that she will have a little brother - and Bev and Beau couldn't deny the fact (or the whisper) that God has picked them to be Wyatt's parents.  Here's the story of Wyatt in Bev's own words.   Any financial help that you can give this sweet family towards Wyatt's care would be so greatly appreciated.  Love.

"About a week ago, we were presented with a story about a 5 week old, premature, baby boy that was in the NICU and in need of an adoptive family. His story immediately grabbed our attention, especially because we are in the beginning stages of the adoption process again. A little bit about baby Wyatt…he was matched with an adoptive family, but was born at 34 weeks with a condition called Recessive Polycystic Kidney Disease and the family quickly realized that they couldn't meet his needs, so they withdrew from the adoption. A little about his disease…basically, he was born with multiple cysts on his kidneys, causing them to be enlarged and are taking up more space in his little body than a normal newborn and it is affecting his breathing. It also causes hypertension (high blood pressure), which is the main reason he is still in the NICU. Currently, his kidneys are functioning at near full capacity and are passing urine as a typical baby, but with the disease, he is at risk for future kidney failure, potentially by age 10. The doctors expect him to be released from the NICU within the next month, but will require oxygen and a feeding tube for several month upon arriving home. He will require many doctors visits, supervision and lots of love! He has not had anyone visiting him or really loving on him while in the NICU…6 weeks without the love of a family! Well, against all logic, The Lord has called us to parent baby Wyatt! His birthmother has chosen us to be his family and we are currently in the process of officially adopting him. Along with bringing this beautiful baby boy into our family, we are also assuming all responsibility for his health, well-being, medical needs and physical needs. With all this happening so quickly, we are not fully prepared for all the adoption costs or his physical necessities…i.e. clothing, diapers, formula, etc… However, we are fully prepared emotionally and spiritually to care for and love baby Wyatt. We are faithful in The Lord's plan and provisions for us, and we are ecstatic to welcome our son into our family!"
