Heartfelt thanks for supporting Zoey!

Zoey's wish is to run and play like a puppy should be able to and be pain free. You see, Zoey was diagnosed with a severe case of canine hip dysplasia at 6 months of age. Her family chose Dr. Munjar as her surgeon and her human Mom took on a 2nd job to help fund her right side THR (Total hip replacement). In March Zoey underwent her surgery and after about 6 weeks of sedation and no running, jumping or playing, began her rehabilitation process. The goal was to build muscle and strength in her new hip (which is doing fabulous by the way)! But Zoey started experiencing a lot of pain on her left side. X-rays with Dr. Munjar showed that Zoey needs her left side replaced as soon as possible. The hope had been that Zoey would shift her weight to the new hip which would give her family more time to put the money together for the next surgery. In the meanwhile, Zoey's human Mom's 2nd job hours have greatly reduced and her family just wants her to be able to be the happy puppy that she is as soon as possible and without the pain she currently experiences. Zoey is only 18 months of age. She is one of the sweetest and mild tempered pups. She loves everyone. The long term goal is for Zoey to join a therapy dog program so that she could "pay it forward". This surgery will change her life. Please help Zoey achieve a happy and pain free life doing what she does best... Making people smile!
