Ziska Baby fund

Our names are Charlie and Sarah Ziska. We were married in 2011 and have been planning for a baby of our own since then as well.
We actually met in High School in 1997, but our paths crossed again in 2010, which we attribute to God giving us one last nudge towards each other and showing us the path in which to follow.
I had two children from a previous marriage that ended, but before it did I had my tubes tied because I was sure that I was done having babies.
When I married Charlie, those plans would most definatley change when I saw how he treated and loved Brodie and Josie, as if they were his own. He is the best dad to them, patient, loving and we always put them first in our lives.
So, we started saving our pennies to have my tubes re-connected, which we did at the University of Utah in 2013. The surgery was then followed by a battery of tests and doctor appointments, which became very expensive very quickly.
In December of 2014 (my birthday) I found out that I was pregnant! It was the best birthday present that anybody could have gave me. But, that excitement soon turned to sadness when on Christmas Eve day we had an ultrasound that made the doctors suspect that something was wrong with the pregnancy. That Saturday we had another ultrasound done and it confirmed that the baby had implanted in my right tube, and the pregnancy had to be terminated. That was the most devistating feeling, to see the baby we've tried so hard for, conquered so many hurdles for, and have to end. After having a few more meetings with the Fertility doctor, it turns out that the surgery I had in Utah did in fact open my tubes, but the inner part of them are blocked with scar tissue and not working properly to move the embryo down to my uterus to implant and grow. So close.. but so far away.
So, here we are. This is our last chance at having a baby together, to be raised with love, discipline and God in their lives, which so many children in the world do not have. Our insurance does not cover anything related to infertility so all of this has come out of our pockets and invitrofertilization is very expensive. This was very hard for us to decide to do (ask for help from all of you), because there are so many more important issues and people in more need than us.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. And someday, somehow we will pay it forward to somebody in need just like us.
