Many friends and associates have asked how they can help. It is never easy to ask for financial assistance, but the fact of the matter is that second only to your prayers and good wishes, that is what would be most helpful. Everyone knows how expensive a hospital stay can be; even with good health insurance the copays are still huge. Being away from home adds to the financial burden, with travel, parking, hotel accommodations for family and meals for everyone, it is quite daunting.
