#WowWee...God did it! Just a few months ago we didn't even know that pageants to recognize the achievements of women in wheelchairs even existed. Today, I am learning how to promote glamour, self confidence and community service on a National platform as the new, Ms. Wheelchair USA 2014/15.
The last 3-months have been INCREDIBLY EXCITING! We have learned so much and grown our extended family. Nevertheless, there are still so many "Ms. Wheelchair Northern Georgia," business obligations left undone. We truly stepped out on FAITH in our quest to compete for the title in Ohio to (humbly) present our passion and platform with the knowledge that we had not yet raised our forecasted funding goals. Then we WON...again!
As we leap into the appointment of self-confidence and community service, we would like to take this opportunity to close the gap with the business of FUN-raising, fees and good stewardship that we started back in April/May. The GOOD NEWS is that, thanks to so many of you, we are already 1/2 way there. So we are thanking you, in advance, for your FINANCIAL support, REFERRING us to Corporate Sponsors and SHARING our links on your Social Media platforms and in your Community to help meet our goals as we close one door and open the MANY doors that await us.
Stay tuned for information on the service platform that I selected to serve for the next 12 months, The all inclusive, "Dream. Write. Hope. University..building a Legacy of Literacy, TODAY!" The Nationwide campaign was created for children of ALL abilities to teach them how to become Child Authors in as little as 90-days, creating a Legacy that will last 4ever. The on-line, trademark curriculum is open to 1st time authors between the age of 7-17 and will provide individualized results similar to those enjoyed by my own children: Isaiah (8) & Elijah (6), who have already published their first book.

We started this email out with surprise and awe of the unknown and how God took that and blessed it, and us, with so much. Our heads and hearts are still spinning...LOL. We TRUST and BELIEVE that the same FAITH that is allowing us to be a voice for those that we will be representing for the next 12 months, will prevail as we meet and EXCEED our fundraising goals - with your help and prayers.
