Youthfully Global is an organization dedicated to cultivating and priming the next generation of young global leaders from historically underserved backgrounds for success through selected channels such as cultural awareness workshops, language education, passport sponsorships, study abroad sponsorships, and global immersion programs.
Youthfully Global believes in one key principle: All youth deserve an opportunity to pursue their full potential in this world. In minority and underserved communities, global travel and global awareness is often seen as a far-fetched luxury. As a result, many of our youth grow up with a very narrow scope of the world and do not realize the limitless potential within them. It is proven that people who are more globally adept not only interact better with others socially and are more culturally tolerant, but it also helps carve a path for professional success. Global awareness has been proven to be a catalyst for success in various areas such as in business, entertainment and politics.

Your donation will help in the following ways:
1) Out 1st global immersion program to beautiful Panama City, Panama.
3 promising young ladies have already been selected to be the first class of Youthfully global scholars and go on an educational and exciting trip to Panama City, Panama in December 2014!
2) Launch our cultural awareness workshop program. The first workshop is targeted to take place in early February 2015. It is our goal to host at least 25 high schoolers in a fun-filled, learning and activity based full day workshop that will introduce them to new cultural experiences - including food, arts and heritage. The workshop will engage them in current event discussions, offer opportunities to work in teams on problem solving challenges, and provide an opportunity to begin to cultivate lasting relationships with fellow Youthfully Global peers. We hope to sponsor one workshop per quarter. Your donation will help cover rented event space, catering, speaker fees (as applicable) and activity fees. Full agenda details are currently being planned.
3) Award our first Study-Abroad scholarship. By partnering with a local university, we plan to award a deserving student a $1000 scholarship to aid the cost of studying abroad in the Spring or Fall 2015 semester. In the future, this scholarship amount will be gradually increased as funding becomes available. Eventually, we hope to be able to sponsor complete study abroad experiences including the cost of airfare, accomodations, and spending stipends.
4) Sponsor 7 first time passports for youth aged 16+ (at the cost of $135/passport).
