Young Twins Scholarship

Hello family! Our names are Caira and Shaira Young. As most of you know, we are identical twins who are in 9th grade this fall.  We attend Bishop Gorman High School, which is a private high school in Las Vegas. It was our dream to attend Gorman because we believe that it will be a springboard for our future. Gorman is nationally recognized both academically and for sports. We are straight A students and play basketball at a high level.  We take advanced classes and will be on the Varsity girls’ basketball team as freshmen.  

 

We understand that the next four years of high school will prepare us for college and beyond.  We would like to get the best education possible so that we can be empowered women as adults, have the means to give to those in need, and so that we can take care of ourselves and our family. 

 

Caira: I hope to become an orthodontist one day. 

 

Shaira: I hope to become a criminal lawyer one day.


We continue to work hard in the classroom and on the basketball court, showcasing our academic commitment and athletic abilities and want to earn scholarships to go to college. 


We are the oldest of 5 children, and our goal is to raise $25,000 this year to put towards our education and athletics.
