"You'll Never Walk Alone"

Imagine being young, healthy, active, social and loving your line of work and then to wake up one day and know in the not too distant future you would be unemployable and relying on your wife for your every need, unable to do something as simple as feeding yourself daily or walking down the beach with your four year old. Imagine this coupled with seeing and speaking to your friends less and less because there is increasingly little you can do or have in common with them. Then comes the helplessness when you are told that your disease is progressing faster than the medical system and there is nothing that can be done for you except to make you as 'comfortable as possible' while MS slowly takes away any dignity you feel you have left. Suddenly a rainbow comes in the form of a Hematopioetc Stem Cell Transplant which after much investigation is the only hope you have at a better quality of life because you just dont want to go out this way.
Well if you can this is just a glimpse of life through Paul's eyes and now we are asking for your help to raise the 'pot of gold' we need to make this rainbow a reality!
Trying to obtain therapy in Australia is becoming less likely and our cheapest and yet most promising option is in India costing approximately $60,000.
As I am Paul's full time carer there is no extra money coming in or savings to cover this so I am pleading for your support.
Paul is the most motivated (and stubborn) man I know and so if will power has anything to do with it then he will back in his beloved gym in no time- probably running on the treadmill or sweating it out on the bike. As Paul is a Liverpool fan I have used their theme song to name this page so lets prove to him that in this journey he will "never walk alone".
