The time is now.

Join us for the very first Yoga Fest State College -- a community-driven, grassroots celebration of yoga, music, food, and of US...the beautiful humans who live in Central PA!

This one-day event will be held on October 22nd 11:30am-8pm, at the beautiful, amazing Millbrook Marsh (in State College, PA), and brings together individuals interested in yoga, meditation, mindfulness, sound healing, sustainability, and community-building. So, let’s congregate, play, laugh, practice yoga, eat good food, drink tea, cry, love, have real conversations, dance, and be authentically ourselves.

CLAIM YOUR FESTIVAL TICKET!:
To keep our lives simple, all ticket sales will be made through the event’s GoFundMe! We started this GoFundMe to raise money for the event, however, it has been working so well, we decided to keep it! The platform provides amazing humans like you an opportunity to buy a ticket as well as donate to support the event. Note that this is a not-for-profit event, and tickets are priced to cover the cost of the event. Need a more affordable ticket? Please volunteer for the event! You can email us at [email redacted].

FESTIVAL THEME:
The theme of this year's festival is "Sound and Color" a celebration of sound and the many colors of LIFE. We all know that life isn’t always peachy....yet, it gets better when we show up together. When we practice yoga and life together, we practice stronger and clearer.

Life is Sound. Life is Color. Join in a community-based, grassroots celebration of life, color, and sound.

We will be inviting these partners to contribute of this event (details forthcoming), and the larger (yet sustainable) festival we are planning for 2018. Our goal is to make this grassroots event representative of our community, so that it is an opportunty for us to connect, share bread, comunity-build, and celebrate the many colors of life.

HOW WILL THE FUNDS BE USED:
The funds from this GoFundMe will be used to pay for the venue and event insurance. The remaining funds, as well as, revenue from ticket sales, will go to fund the remaining event expenses (e.g. print materials, musicians, supplies, food/drinks).

WHY THIS EVENT IS IMPORTANT:
This event has been a dream of mine (this is Brandi talking), the co-coordinator of the festival, for past 2 years. I have dreamed of having a HUGE community yoga class that celebrates the interplay of yoga, sound (voice, music, and breath), and the unknown. Both yoga and music have the ability to teach us to participate in the unknown and create something bigger than ourselves. And when yoga and music are combined in a class, the class becomes a larger jam in which the musicians, teacher(s), and students are driving into the unknown and creating the most amazing experience EVER.

We are doing this!!!! Our community is just too amazing!
