To our beautiful Yandara Community,
Development is threatening Yandara. We need your support to preserve this sacred land and ensure Yandara's future!
The land surrounding Yandara has recently been listed for sale putting our healing environment at risk. We've been extremely blessed for the past 10 years in that the land has not been available for purchase....until now.
Last month, the sacred community land that so many of our Yandara community members and staff had been living on for the past 10+ years was suddenly sold to a Tourist/Adventure company, abruptly uprooting more than half of our community.
Now, the land adjacent to the Yandara property line is at immediate risk of being sold and developed. This would drastically affect the quality of life here at Yandara and disrupt the pristine surroundings we have been living in harmony with for so many years.
The good news is, we've been offered a chance to purchase the land in question! However, this is not in our financial budget and we've been given a strict deadline to raise the funds.
The sellers will accept a minimum deposit of $150,000 to secure the land and initiate the purchase process. The remaining cost of the land is $200,000 (to be paid within 1 year). With the purchase of this land, we plan to house the displaced members of our community.
