Thank you for your interest in our page! We are requesting assistance in helping our family grow through adoption.
We would appreciate your help in making our dream come true in expanding our family. Yakub and Aisha got married in 2012 and have been inseparable ever since. Through the past few years, we have learned a lot about patience and having faith; especially through ups and downs with our health.
We are excited to welcome a little prince or princess into our family and our lives. We would like to provide a child with a beautiful life similar to what our parents provided for us. We have begun this wonderful journey by doing research on agencies and narrowing down on a few that we feel are best for us and our situation. We look forward to this adventure and thank you in advance for joining us and helping us on the ride.
We are requesting funds to help with the adoption process (placement, finalization, etc). We signed on with a Muslim agency and are excited to move forward.
Stage 1: Research Potential Agencies
Status: Complete
Stage 2: Application ($250 - paid)
Status: Completed
Stage 3: Home Study Review ($850 )
Status: Completed and Approved (11/9/15)
Stage 4: Waiting for Match
Stage 5: Match ($11000)
Stage 6: Placement and Finalization ($11000)
Stage 7: Post Placement Visit ($200 per visit)
Total: $30,000 (Roughly) - Anything extra will be donated.
Help piece our family together!
We are creating a puzzle for our new addition. For every donation of $20, we will put your name on a piece of the puzzle (donations of over $20 will get multiple pieces). Once completed, we will seal and frame the puzzle with the names showing and put it in our nursery. In the future, our little one will be able to see who all pieced our family together. We bought a 500 piece 3D puzzle that we are looking forward to starting soon with your help.
