CEREMONIAL TENT - Camp Liberty, AL

IN THE MILITARY, WE USE "BLUF" - which means, "Bottomline Upfront." So, here's the BLUF: This 100' x 47' foot permanent tent was won at auction from GovDeals.com last month. My intent is for it to be used as a major addition to Camp Liberty in Battleground, Alabama. The tent is seven years old, valued at over $125,000 and was won at an incredible price of $8,100.  However, (the reason for this GoFundMe), it was to be paid for with proceeds from a house sale that fell through two days prior to closing.  Fortunately, GovDeals has held off on relisting it, realizing what a positive impact it could have on our unique youth development mission. To make this significant addition to Camp Liberty, we have about two weeks to raise nearly $10,000 for the cost of the tent ($8100, which must be paid ASAP) and disassembly and transportation (about $1500-2000, which I have 45 days) from Tennessee to Alabama.   Otherwise, it will go back to auction again.     We do very well with our military summer camp, with 30% growth each season. We have continued to invest in the Camp Liberty facility and XMC program, making significant additions in order to provide even better and more realistic training to our Cadets. Unfortunately, winter is our "lean season," with the majority of our enrollment income available in May, June and July each year. So, we just aren't able to carry the cost of such a large unbudgeted purchase and associated transport at this time of year.  I'm not one to ask for assistance; however, this is a "one-time good deal" that is too good to lose. Therefore, any support you can provide is greatly appreciated.
