It started with slurred speech and now five years later ALS, an incurable disease, has robbed her of so much. Everyday activities that we all take for granted such as eating, walking and communicating; she can no longer do. It has been a very tough road for her and even though she is completely incapacitated ALS has not taken her infectious smile. Somehow in the midst of the toughest battle of her life she is still offering us love, faith and hope through that beautiful smile. She was never one to give up on anything or anyone, which is why we ask that you help her family continue to provide the care that she so desperately needs. She requires 24-hour care and most of the time she needs 2 aides to care for her adequately. As you can imagine this is very costly. We ask that you please consider making a donation, $1, $5 or $20 it doesn't matter because every bit counts. We strongly believe that where there is unity there is always victory. Todo comenzó hace cuatro años con la difícultad para hablar, y poco a poco fue perdiendo la habilidad de hacer muchas cosas cotidianas. Hoy en día, cosas como hablar, comer o caminar no están a su alcance. ALS es una enfermedad incurable, la cual ha destrozado tanto en nuestra familia pero aun no ha podido quitar su sonrisa contagiosa que nos ofrece tanto amor, fe y esperanza. Debido a su enfermedad, ella requiere atención las 24 horas al día y la mayor parte del tiempo se necesitan por lo menos 2 personas para que la cuiden en una forma adecuada. Como se pueden imaginar esto es muy costoso, por lo tanto la familia de Germania ha comenzado una pagina segura en el Internet para ayudar con estos gastos. Cualquier cantidad, $ 1 , $ 5 o $ 20 nos ayudará de gran manera para seguir proveyendo el cuidado que ella necesita. Estamos convencidos de que cuando hay unidad siempre hay victoria.
