Save Renee and Bob's Wedding!

Bob and Renee (Chiaroscuro and WitchieBunny) have been together for a few years now, and I can say without reservation that they're a fantastic pair. I've never seen Renee so happy and confident, and that is all Bob's doing. It has been such a blessing to watch them grow together in love and friendship, and I can't wait to see them tie the knot later this month.
That's where there's a little hitch in the plan. Yesterday (May 2) Bob and Renee went for their final premarital counseling session, and found out that the pastor had never checked on the availability of or booked their church-owned reception venue. As it turns out, the venue has been booked for some time for another event, meaning they can't use it. With less than three weeks to go, they now have to find a new venue and replan their entire reception.
The Wedding is May 20th. To find out that they had no reception venue with under a month to go was a shock. What's worse, because the venue was owned by their church, they would only have had to pay about $150 to use it. That was in their budget. Finding a new venue now, even a cheap one, or even using someone's back yard, is going to require rentals and fees that they were not expecting.
Uunfortunately, like most of us, they don't have a few hundred to a few thousand dollars just lying around. Weddings are already expensive, and this was not a cost they had anticipated or budgeted for. As a result, without help to fund a new reception site and/or equipment, they may be unable to have a wedding reception at all.
As their wedding party, we're not willing to let that happen. These two have a love that should be celebrated, and we want to make sure that they still get to have a beautiful reception, surrounded by friends and family. We know none of us can give a lot, but we're hoping that if we can all give a little, we can make that happen.
