New Drum Line Equipment

I am a supportive parent from Winfield School District and I am writing this on behalf of the Band Directors of the Warrior Pride Band. Winfield is a small, low socioeconomic town which has one amazing thing going for it, its Band Program! However, due to budget constraints and very low funding from the District, the band program is in dire need of new instruments for our amazing kids.

We go to multiple competition every year for Marching Band and Concert Band. Our current drum line equipment was purchased in 2002, so over 11 yrs old. Our drum line equipment are "antiques" as visiting percussion instructor stated. We put more money in every year just to keep them working and functional for the kids to use.

And that is who this letter is really for. The STUDENTS at Winfield High School DESERVE better equipment to match their talent. Our drum line was undefeated last year in competitive marching festivals in our class, and scores higher than school 3x our size.

However, we simply cannot keep up, keep fixing, and duct-taping our stuff together. We need YOUR HELP! Please donate to a great cause and great kids and help us put new drums in these kids hands.
