What She Knows (Working Title)

I am raising funds to make a short student film as part of my Diploma In Screen And Media at Sydney Film School,our alotted shooting period for thesis films is May 2018.

In my film i will be addressing the topic of abusive relationships.

Synopsis:
Lottie,  a shy but head strong girl, watches her sister Finn's abusive, manipulative relationship with Kyle, until she has no choice but to step up and do something about it. Only to be hurt herself causing Finn to choose between Lottie and Kyle.

I am making this film as I believe that abuse of women is a major topic that is not covered enough in public. I want people to feel it is okay to speak up and do something about being in a abusive, manipulative relationship.
I hope people feel encouraged to stand up and speak about abusive, manipulative relationship more after watching my short film.
I want to be able to make a film worthy of festivals and  believe my idea although small is in need of extra funding to be able to get what I’m looking for and be able to take care of my crew.

The money will go towards:
Production:  Location, Transport, Catering and surpporting the crew to the best of my abilty.  
Post-Production: colouring, sound Desgin/mixing and other aspects to make the story shine.
