I want to thank all of you for your support, love, prayers, and hope.  I have brain and lung cancer. It was missed in the initial biopsy.   Then when they finally called for the pet scan, I didn't even make it home before they were calling me to get to the hospital.  I am the caregiver of my husband as he is disabled due to a couple of severe work injuries.  So this loss of income is really putting a strain on us. I don't like asking for help, however  I find myself having to do just that. My first chemotherapy went well with minor side effects. But what I consider minor, most people be flat on their back I am doing my best to stay strong, positivite and keep negativity away. It's the only way I know  how to fight especially when my life is on the line. I've been through 15 bursts of radiation.  That went well, except for the losing of hair. I knew it was coming but I thought I'd have til chemotherapy. So far we have radiation burns pretty much total : head, neck ears. Chemotherapy side effects :  some nausea, bloody sputum, bloody nose, more hair lost and body aches that would probably take most people down. But I'm a fighter and refuse to quit fighting.   My campaign has come to a stand still and the New Year is upon us. Which means new co-pays, for those of you who dont know one chemo drug is $15,000.00 (yeah, shock to me too) plus having to pay my own insurance premiums out of the 70 percent short term disability.  Soon to be long term disability with will be even less. Not to mention, the place I live wants to raise our rent $100.00. So when it rains it pours. I just wanted to update you on how badly we need the money and where it's going.  It's going to the bare necessities. So please if you can't donate please share and tag friends who have a different friend base so we can keep this going.
