Help Us Bring Baby Andrew Home

Hello Everyone,
My name is Allyson Maywald and I have put together this fundraiser to help my best friend of 20+ years and her husband raise part of money they need in order to BRING HOME BABY ANDREW!!

For those of you that know Christy and Chris, you know what amazing, loving, giving, godly people they are and also know what amazing parents they will make! I am asking for your help to make their biggest dream come true!

God has a different plan for each and every one of us and after the Andrews exhausted almost every option to naturally conceive a baby, they realized that God had something different in mind for them. He began placing adoption on their hearts and they knew that was the direction they should take. 

The journey that has led them to this point has been a difficult one, as they both went through many doctors, surgeries, medications and shared immense heartache together.  In March of last year Christy and Chris began attending adoption meetings at their church and spending alot of time with other couples that had adopted and learned about their stories and experiences. God really started to open their eyes to His plan and excitement completly took over! After researching many agencies they selected an organization called Christian Homes and Family Services which is not only an adoption agency but also an amazing ministry for young pregnant women that need help.

They have spent the last 6 months filling out paperwork that includes detailed autobiographies, spiritual stories, family photo book, birth mother letter, and much more.

Great news - as of Nov 5th - their profile is live on the Christian Homes Website (http://www.christianhomes.com/adopting-family-profiles-chris-and-christy/).
This means that birth mothers that are looking for loving homes for their babies can see Chris and Christy and get in contact with them through the agency. So now the waiting games starts. This is such an exciting time and I am just grateful to be a part of this amazing experience. They could get that phone call at any moment now that a birth mom wants to meet them!

Here is where I am asking for some help from her friends and family. The adoption process is just above $30,000! Ouch! I wondered myself...why so much? Christy told me all about what the money goes towards and it finally makes sense. This money covers all of the mothers medical bills, legal bills, the matching making service, and most importantly this agency offers housing, food and rehabilitation to all of these women all the way through their pregancy and after if they need it! It is truly an amazing cause.

If you can donate $20 bucks...that will add up and we will be to our goal of $10K in no time.  I want to help them raise money so we can BRING HOME BABY ANDREW!!!
