<div>On November 28, 2022, they lost their daughter Katana Rose at 3 years old to acute leukemia. One week after her funeral, Ashlee was diagnosed with severe idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension. A central line pumps medication directly into her heart to keep her alive. She was given 5 years to live. During that same period, they lost another daughter when Ashlee was forced to terminate a 20-week pregnancy to save her own life.
