Caregiving for the Elderly

Six years ago, I became the full-time caregiver of my mother.  Caring for her was the most rewarding experience I have ever had. It wasn't until after she had gone home to be with the Lord, that  I heard from the Lord and realized that there are so many elders who don't have a family member to care for them, nor can they afford the high cost of caregiving.  The only option they may have is to end up in a nursing home and their quality of life diminish.

To solve this issue for many,  God has led me to start a  not for profit home care service that would provide the needed in-home non-medical care for little or no cost to the elderly. 

 Since starting the service we have had the opportunity to provide services to a special group of people. They are all unique, yet so very much the alike. They are in need of care but don't have the funds to pay for care.  We Are Family is unique as well. Because of the high cost of caregiving services, no other home care agency  would  even consider providing services for someone  who don't have the ability to pay.   Many need 24-hour service.

I look into the faces of the seniors we serve and I see the appreciation in their eyes that there is someone who really cares. I see the peace in the family members knowing their loved one is being loved and taken care of. 
 
As the word gets out about what we do, the need for financial help becomes even greater.  The cost to provide low cost or free service is high. I am reaching out to you for help to help those deserving elders who have given so much of their time, their service and their wisdom to this great country of ours. This generation is enjoying the benefits of their labor. They deserve the best that we have to offer them of support in their declining years.
