Zara & Tristan...Wayne's Legacy

Losing a dear friend is difficult, losing a brother, son, father is inconceivable for many of us. Losing someone so suddenly without warning leaves a hole, and we flounder with questions, and regrets. Wayne touched many lives in his 52 years and left his indelible mark on all of us. From the many posts I have read, we all remember him with passion, love, laughter and friendship.  This Go Fund Me campaign hopefully, in some small measure, can be a way for all of us to show and share our love for Wayne with his children Zara and Tristan. Our parents are our first protectors, advocates, and friends.  No matter what age we are, we always want our mom and dad. Two children have suddenly lost a loving father, a cornerstone in their lives, an important guide, hero, mentor and support. Perhaps, in a very small way, this monetary legacy of Wayne, from his friends from all over the world can show and be a reminder to his children later in life that their father was valued, touched and made a difference in many people’s lives, was important, mattered and is missed.

With Kevin’s support, the monies raised in the campaign with be held in trust for Wayne’s children, supervised by Kevin and dispersed at his discretion.

It takes a community to raise children, perhaps as Wayne’s family and friends we can all become a part of Zara and Tristan’s larger community. In donating a little,  together we can give a great deal.

For those of you who do not know me, I am simply an old friend who loved the boy and was learning about the man and father he became.
