Waterloo Wildfire goes to Easterns!

Congratulations to the U14AA Waterloo Wildfire team, who have officially secured a spot at the Eastern Canadian Championships this year in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia!
We are seeking support for this talented and passionate group of young ladies from Waterloo, Ontario who will be representing our city and province, during their travels to the Eastern Canadian Ringette Championships! This event will be taking place from April 18-22, 2018 in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. It’s coming up soon!
These 16 atheletes, aged 12 and 13 years old have dedicated themselves to countless hours of training, practice, playing and working together as a team over this past ringette season and are so proud to represent their city at this event. Their hard work and dedication has paid off and as a result their season has not come to an end just yet! The Eastern Canadian Championships will provide this team with one more opportunity to compete this season against many other elite and refined teams. The opportunity to compete in this championship is such an honour and possibly even a once in a lifetime opportunity for some of these young athletes.
These young women would not be the players they are today without the incredible support of their coaches and trainers who have worked hard to challenge, encourage, and better these young women both on and off the ice. Many of our coaches do not have their own children on the team, but are pouring into these aspiring athletes purely for the love of the game. As a team we want to make sure our coaches feel as supported during this championship as we have felt by them all year – our goal is to have all expenses for our non parent coaches covered during this Championship tournament.
Additionally, the challenges of flights, equipment, lodging, and travel quickly pile up for each player and their families. We are looking for any support you would be willing and able to offer to help ensure that these young ladies have the opportunity to play and represent their city with pride!
We plan to play with heart and leave it all on the ice, we can’t wait to make you proud!
