Wanjiru's film credits include "Look Again" (nominated for a 2012 African Movie Academy Award, Winner- Best Diaspora Film- Kalasha Awards-Kenya) "Winnie The Pooh". "Shop Secret", Safari Ya Jamhuri: A Journey To Freedom", "Orphans of Mathare", "A Fronteira" "The meek shall inherit", "The Dancer" and television credits in "Samantha Who", "˜Super temps" and "Mostly Evil" among others. She is an active member of Film Independent and Women in Film.
Wanjiru produced the 5th Annual WIF Short Film Series, "Out of Africa, A Night of Kenyan Film & Culture". It was held at Universal Studios in Universal City, California, on Saturday March 5th, 2011. The City of Los Angeles honored the series in 2012, hailing the 2011 series as a great cultural contribution to the city. In 2012 Wanjiru directed and hosted the red carpet interview for Women In Film's 5th Annual Pre-Oscar party, a live taping the Q&A panel of a screening of the ï¬lm MISS Representation by the Screen Actor's Guild(SAG) and Women In Film(WIF) as well as the 2012 Women in Film/ Variety Women In Film's purple carpet interviews for their Variety/Women In Film celebrates the 2012 Female Prime-time Nominees
