Help the Waltons adopt

Donation protected
For those of you who don't know already, the Walton family is adopting! We've completed the majority of our paperwork and even passed our home study. We're hoping to adopt a sibling group from the Philippines. We are not yet matched with any children, but we know this is what we are called to do.

Did you know that adoption is an expensive process? It's true. And an international adoption of a sibling group from the Philippines is even more so. As our family, friends, acquaintances, friends of acquaintances, random internet stalkers and very special people whom we've met maybe once and have forgotten your names, we'd love to get your support for us in this process! How can you support us? Good question.
1. We could always use your prayers and prayer-like utterances in our favor. 2. Words of encouragement -- like "Really?" and "Wow, that's a big change." 3. Financial support. This is a big one actually. We're applying for grants and selling major organs on the black market, but that only goes so far. So, any help you could offer in this department would be appreciated in way that are inexpressible in regular words, so we'll have to invent an entirely new language to say "Thank you."

You can donate at any amount you like, but for those of you who are Kickstarter addicts, here's some fun incentives to get your donate juices flowing:

REWARDS.
I know what you're thinking. Hey, the Waltons get some neat new kids, but what's in it for me, mister? Well, good (albeit a bit selfish) question. Here's the deal: I could look around the office and put up a few of the random things I see as rewards, but I don't think you'd all have much use for a life size cardboard cutout of Supreme Court Justice William Rehnquist and my collection of Windows 98 installation CDs. Maybe what you'd like instead is a super cool, one-of-a-kind garment that you could wear anywhere and for any occasion to show your support a world with more Waltons-- you want something like a stylish t-shirt. A t-shirt with this cool design on it.

For the Bookworm reward level, I'm willing to get the eccentric and reclusive author of the Auto-B-Good storybooks to autograph the ONE storybook of your choosing and send it to you. I make no other guarantees about what else he may write in the book... maybe a map to a buried treasure or the telephone number to a fictional girl named Jenny. Anything is possible.

Well, the final reward is a doozy. For a $1000 entry fee, you get to face off against yours truly in an Arm Wrestling championship match for bragging rights in perpetuity throughout the known universe. Oh yeah, It's totally worth it.

The amount we're asking for is not the entire amount we need but it's a good start. Thank you again for your time and even if all you can offer is moral support and a kind word, we still love you and will keep you updated on this exciting adventure!
