Early morning on Wednesday January 3, 2018, while traveling on US HWY 182 to work, Walter Stansbury Jr. was involved in a horrible automobile accident. Upon this accident he sustained injuries that caused him to lose consciousness, and mobilty, with a need for machanical ventilation.
Born April 28, 1965, to Mr. and Mrs. Walter and Mary Stansbury Sr., Walter Jr. is well known for his hard work and dedication to his family, community, and employer(Slumber J, formally known as Cameron Iron Works).
Lil Walter, as his family affectionately refers to him, has been married to Gail Foster Stansbury for 30 years. From this union two kids (Gabrielle & Brandon) were born; and four grandchildren who are the absolute joy of his life.
Lil Walter is a caring, pure hearted, genuine, selfless individual, who often make personal sacrifices for the benefit of others. His kindness, Love for the elderly, and outgoing nature are attributes that have left all that know him at a loss.
As he fight for his life in the Intensive Care Unit, Lil Walter's wife struggles to make sense of how their life has been changed so drastically. We are asking that if you feel led in your heart to make a monetary contribution to aid in lessening the financial burdens affiliated with this horrible tragedy, that you'd please feel free to do so.
