Help me dad be independent!

My dad David, is a strong hard working man. Not only is he that, but he's adventurous , fun,  and always on the go. Even without his legs. And that's where it all started..

About 4 years ago my dad became a uni lateral amputee and no more than a year later he is now a bilateral.  When these procedures were done, my dad was about stripped of it all. He  lost his confidence and gained all the  glares.  But with confidence and being "forward focused" which Paul Mitchell "temple" taught me, he overcame many obstacles. With the new moto of being forward focused, he can now walk on his new legs , drive a car again, play golf again, and his main goal, to ride a motorcycle again. 

When my dad was going through rehab to walk again, he decided then that he would be a strong advocate to visit these type of centers and offer support. So that's what he did. Now, my dad needs help from us.  2 weeks ago while undergoing a routine endoscopy , his heart stopped for almost 10 min and because of this he became anoxic. Which means no oxygen to the brain.  With the hard work of doctors, he came back. But now, he barely knows who I am. With extensive care and a long road ahead  at a cognitive/neuro therapy facility, my dad could be able to walk and talk again. 

While insurance is nice to have, it also has a limit. And we are about to hit that.  There's no gentle way to tell anyone that 1 months care at the facility he is at is going to be $10,000 a month. While there is no easy way to say that, its just as hard , I think,  to grasp that amount. I need help. Sratch that. My dad needs help. Normally he has a " I'll do it myself " attititude,  but for 1 months stay for 10 grand can't be I'll do it myself attititude when you don't even know why you are there.
