WE Stand with Standing Rock

Chicagoans, Midwesterners and fellow lightworkers are weaving together to raise awareness, gain donations and collect supplies to support The Standing Rock Movement. The Lakota and Dakota Nations of the Sioux Native American Tribe, with countless peaceful protestors have been holding space to secure the sacred land from the Dakota Access Pipeline, and defend ALL of our rights for clean water supply.
Crucial information not shared in the media, The Dakota Access Pipeline if built, will run over the Ogallala Aquifer, underlying portions of 8 states and supplying drinking water for 82% of the 2.3 million people who live within the boundaries of the High Plains. If the Ogallala Aquifer is contaminated, the land residing above will not only be unlivable, more than $20 billion worth of food and fiber will disappear from our worlds markets. WE are shown separation within the stories shared on the news, creating an idea that only Native Americans in the Sioux Tribe are affected by the pipeline. WE are ALL at risk here. The vast reservoir breaths life to this region, which supplies one fifth of the annual U.S. agricultural harvest. If this pipeline happens, we cannot come back from the destruction. WE must protect Mother Earth, and ALL who stand for her.
We will leave Chicago November 21st, traveling to Standing Rock with offerings and donations to support OUR water protectors, OUR heroes. North Dakota is known for extreme winters, and WE want to ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of OUR water protectors.
YOUR donations will help to purchase the essential list of supplies including; sub zero winter gear- coats, sweaters, gloves, mittens, hats, scarves, insulated boots, wool socks. Subzero sleeping bags, wool blankets, sleeping mats, cots.Tents, yurts, winter liners, large bins.
Wood, propane, heating stove, burners.
