Washington D.C. Safety Patrol Trip

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, for a young kid like me, to go on my 5th grade Safety Patrol trip to Washington, D.C. I served as a Safety Patrol my whole 5th grade year. It has been a lot of fun taking down the flag afterschool, helping parents/kids in the car-pick up area, and reminding the younger kids to follow school rules. The trip will be a lot of fun because I'll be able to spend time with my other safety patrol friends... outside of school.

Oh! This trip is also educational. We'll get to visit Arlington National Cemetary, The Lincoln Memorial, The Jefferson Memorial, The National Mall and maybe, The White House (Hey, I want to take tourist-y photos too). Mom says I "should" (a.k.a have to) keep a blog of my travels, she says this is a trip I'll remember for the rest of my life.
